5 Fall Finds I’m Actually Using This Season

Fall is easily my favorite season, but my version of fall shopping has very little to do with building the perfect capsule wardrobe. These fall finds are much more representative of real life around here: Halloween decorations, something comfortable to throw on when the temperature finally drops, a way to stay visible on evening walks, and a bag that won’t get me turned away at the stadium gate.

So, in no particular order, here are five fall finds that are making life a little more festive—and just a little easier and safer—this season.

01 | Because It’s Never Too Early for Halloween

I love Halloween decorations, but I like decorations that can blend in with the decor.. These little ceramic ghosts are exactly my speed—festive, cute, and easy to tuck onto a shelf, mantel, or table without completely taking over the room.

The witch hats are what got me. They’re spooky season without actually being spooky. So dang cute!

02 | I Also Needed Tiny Pumpkins

Because the adorable tiny ghosts weren’t enough, we also needed tiny pumpkins.

I like these because they’re another really easy way to add Halloween around the house without committing to a whole decorating project. Put a few on a shelf, mix them into a fall display, or scatter them around the house and call it decorating. That’s about the level of effort I’m looking for.

03 | The Fall Pullover

This is exactly the vibe I want from fall clothes: comfortable, easy, and put-together enough that it doesn’t look like I gave up when I chose comfort. The waffle knit and button detail give it a little more swag than a basic sweatshirt, and it’s the kind of thing you can throw on with jeans or leggings and be out the door.

Basically, if it works for school drop-off, errands, a Saturday on the couch, and grabbing lunch without requiring an outfit change, I’m interested.

04 | Because Our Evening Walks Are Getting Dark Again

One downside of fall: our evening walks start happening in the dark. These are two of those decidedly unexciting purchases that I appreciate every single time we use them. Which is daily.

The light-up collar makes the dog much easier to see, and the little rechargeable lights clip onto us (or the stroller) so we’re easier to spot too. Nothing glamorous here—just a simple way to make evening walks feel a little safer once the days start getting shorter. I’ve had the dog collar since 2021 and it still like the first day I bought it. It’s awesome!

05 | The Stadium Bag That Actually Gets Through Security

If you go to enough football games, eventually you learn that the bag policy is not something you want to figure out while standing at the security gate. A clear bag is one of those things I bought for a very specific reason and now I’m just glad to have it ready whenever we head to a game.

This one gives me enough room for the essentials without feeling like I’m carrying a giant plastic crossbody around the stadium. Just grab it, throw in what I need (gluten-free snacks, mostly), and go—which is exactly what I want on game day.

One reminder: bag requirements vary by stadium and event, so always check the venue’s current policy before you go.
